One Last Question on the Doc Move

I watched all the pressers, read all the articles, saw the Bill Simmons twitter rants, and did not see this question asked by the media, or answered by Doc or Danny.  Does anyone have a link that shows an answer to this?

Did Danny go to Doc with the Clippers idea or did Doc go to Danny with the Clippers idea?

I think Wyc's "Doc left us, period." pretty much answer it, but that is the one question I don't have a clear answer on.  It probably does not matter anymore, but just for my own curiosity.

I'm pretty sure Danny brought it up to Doc the day after SAS had it in the press, which led to the registered letter they sent to Doc the next day.  So Doc could technically be right about Danny 'bringing it up', but it unquestionably at that point was not at all in the context of the C's suggesting or wanting it, and to the contrary it involved them reiterating that they expected him to fulfill his contract with the C's.

Doc's using a bad pretext to deny his underhandedness about the whole thing.

it could have very well been mutual. But does it really matter? Doc did want that opportunity regardless of his spin. I mean in some interview he was acting like they were pushing him to it, and that is not true especially since Doc really really wanted that coaching job.
