I hate that I am referencing TMZ, but they did get a few words out of Pierce while he was grocery shopping.

Sounds like Pierce "feels good" about the trade, feels like he has some game left, and is exciting about going for a championship.

I know I will be pulling for him and KG to get one more!

Right on, Pierce. Looking forward to seeing him back in green some day.

Well, if the last nine years are with the Celtics, I certainly don't have a problem with that!
The beatings will continue until morale improves

I keep telling people that Paul Pierce is probably extremely excited about this trade.
He wants to be a Celtic but he does not want to do another rebuild. He had plans to play out free agency anyway.
He's fine. Everyone should stop being so sentimental...Paul will contend as a Net. And I'm sure he will love it.

Still so hard to believe that he's no longer a Celtic

After next year, he can sign on to the C's, Vet's minimum, for the next 8-9 years, playing 5-12 mins off the bench. Really, if you want to survive in the league till ages 43-44, that's what's next, otherwise, if you play like a 6th man, you'll start to have back spasms, like John Stockton did, during his final years in the league.

The weirdest thing for me will be to watch Pierce and KG back to Bos in another uniform. I have a feeling i will start hating KG again, bc who knows he will prob be mouthing off to Sully and Olynyk. haha

Love his intensity but if he is in your team. On the opposing team, forget it
