I'd trade him to Charlotte for a couple second round picks.

That team needs a scorer, badly. And while Brooks isn't your typical consistent go-to guy, his potential alone would probably be enough for the Cats/Hornets to unload a 2nd rounder for him.

Between Kemba, Gordon, and Henderson I think the 'Cats have enough one-dimensional ball-hogs.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

I get his point, though. A very high 2nd round pick would be something I would also consider. Otherwise, I see no reason to 'dump' him for a 2nd rounder before seeing what he has to offer. He could also be the catalyst in trading a guy like Wallace (who we should also be featuring - NJ seemed to have completely halted both of their careers).

Besides, if we are going to kind of suck, I would rather have Crawford. He is was very decent on Washington and I think he is funny.

How about Ridnour, Cunningham and a pick for Lee and Brooks. That would save us some money, get us a back up pg and bring in a future pick.

We aren't going to make a trade where we birng back the same amount of players that leave us.  We have 18 guys not counting Pressey or Jones so it won't happen.  Plus the Wolves are going after bigger fish right now including Mayo, plus they have 4 year offers out to Reddick and Buddinger so maybe if they don't get one of them it's possible ...

Unless someone really wants Brooks I say just keep him for the year. There is no point in dumping young players while trying to rebuild. Brooks and Crawford should be battling in the preseason for the spot as first guard off the bench. They can both score so it will come down to IQ and defense where both really struggle.
