Kobe just can't get along with the top C in the league no matter who it is at the time.

Except, at this time, the top center in the league is not Dwight Howard.
yeah he is.  I mean coming off of back surgery he still was a 17.1p/12.4r/2.4b player.  He led the league in defensive rebounds, rebounds per game, was 2nd in total rebounds, and 5th in blocks per game (4th in total blocks).  This is coming off a back surgery, on a new team, with new teammates, and a revolving door of coaches and systems.  Howard is by far the best center in the NBA and next year he will extend the margin.
He went from an MVP caliber guy up there with LeBron to being "just" the best Center. (well he was there by the end of the year, his overall work was pretty up and down as he came back)

He hates kobe. They cant coexist.

Dallas can only really get him is if he will take less one year and we all know he wont do such a thing. Its a race between clips, rockets and atl. I think rockets have the upper hand bc they have harden. And houston has lots of pieces to make a trade happen. It wont matter to howard whats best for the lakers. Worse case he will just take less one year

Dallas can offer four years, the same as the Clippers, Rockets, and Hawks.  The only team that can offer him 5 years is the Lakers, so I don't see why Dallas is any worse of an option financially than any of the other non-Laker teams.

This is well put to how I feel about Dwight now.

To me he was the 2nd best player in the league before this whole Lakers mess.

Now he is vulnerable in some ways.  (And not even talking about him as a teammate and competitor... always had the questions and they've become worse). IF DeMarcus could just get himself together he could pass Dwight soon.

I'm assuming triboy16f thinks that you can still get a 5th year via a sign and trade with the Lakers.

Leaving via straight cap space or sign and trade means the same money with the new CBA.

He was a bit up and down, but March and April he was pretty much back into form.

Maybe they only know what they are talking about when it comes to certain teams and are clueless when it comes to others.  I'd doubt either of them has any great insight about most small- and medium-market teams, for example.

Woj seems smart because he clearly has an in within the Celtics organization, possibly Ainge himself, and he's getting some solid insight about the state of the league and other teams.

Dallas is almost certainly a better option in one way because of the Howard friendly spacing he'll get by playing with Dirk.

Assuming he can ever get his passing out of the post together at a high level, there's no way anyone would dare send help on Dwight when the alternative is a wide open Dirk.

Not that Howard's post game is anything spectacular, but it's effective enough that you have to respect it.
