Has Danny been looking around, or is he going to promote from within.

Please get me Mark Jackson....can I dream?

I can live with Hollins but I agree no Brian Shaw, please.

This totally depends on the strategy from this point. Is DA going to try to do a quick rebuild, get a Josh Smith, Big Al, Milsap and others type of move, or tank it for next years draft?

If we are not tanking it than you go with a proven name, George Carl?

If it's tank mode than maybe Tyrone Lue?

LOL the league office will not approve Tyrone Lue to coach the Celtics.

Bill Walton brings structure and discipline to a chaotic world.

 ;D
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Cannot tell if you're being serious.  Certainly the Celtics would be allowed to interview him, since he's still under contract with the Celtics.  Depending on the level of truth of the Doc-vs.-Rondo rumors, and that Lue is seemingly very close to Doc, I'm not sure it would be a good fit, but that's my only objection.

Hopefully we grab Shaw, he deserves a chance and maybe he will prove all the naysayers wrong.

I seriously doubt it will be Shaw, maybe it should be though because whomever get's the job it's their job to tank.

I have a feeling it'll be Lawrence Frank.

I think Shaw will be an excellent coach. But not for the Celtics or Clippers. The guy is going to run the triangle. It's not a very point guard friendly offense. Rondo or Paul would hate it. Can you remember any pass first pg in that system?

My choice is Lionel Hollins. Look at the wonderful job he did with Conley.Plus, he likes to play big.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
How about we try to pirate Kevin McHale from Houston? I guess we need to pay the Rockets a first rounder too?

If not, it could be anyone that KG looks after/respects a lot. If KG's motivated, Rondo is motivated and everyone will be motivated. Anyone who can light more fire under KG is good enough for me.
