Bill Simmons keeps on mentioning this. I'm starting to buy it as well.

Rondo
Bradley
Green
Smith
Jordan

That is not a bad starting 5 at all. What does everyone else think about it?

Need at shooter at the two hole.  Use the draft pick in Clippers to draft a SG.  Bradley is a great defender but without a marksman that team will struggle to score.

Yes. Danny and Rajon want him, from what I understood, Doc didn't.

I like except the SG position...Bradley is not a starter and dont know why everyone is so high on him..also hope that Shabazz falls to us at 16

I'd try and get him even if KG stays.

as much as I hate the trade rumors, if it went through, I rather get Al Jefferson. Don't get me wrong, I like Josh Smith and his game, but I think Al Jefferson gives us a better chance at contending again in the future quicker than Josh Smith.

Al Jefferson provides us with post presence (if KG leaves) and rebounds. The only benefits I see out of Josh Smith is keeping Rondo here long term and a few nice thunderous dunks.

Because he has a defense that is more aggressive and annoying to opposing players than most people have ever seen. I've never seen such relentless defense out of any NBA player outside of Lee at many times during the playoffs. Those two should become best friends and Bradley should teach him his defensive techniques.

Danny needs to find a Danny Green. With picks and assets its defiantly possible to get a 2 guard that can space the floor.

More interested in Josh Smith if KG stays than if KG departs.

That's what Lee and Terry were supposed to provide...

I think that they are absolutely going to target Josh Smith.  We will have to see how it plays out but they will be younger and more athletic..

I agree, with the way things look one will stay, one will go. I would give Lee another shot at it with a different coach in place.

Then how about Caron butler + the 3 china guys (all expiring) + Draft picks to the bucks for Monta Ellis (opted out today)

Rondo
Ellis
Green
Smith
Jordan

Now that's a very good line up with scoring defending rebounding and athleticism.
I think danny knows what he's doing getting the Butler expiring...

If they do it's to applease, Rondo.

Quote
Smith: "I follow him quite a bit, obviously I'm close to Rajon. He came to Oak Hill from Lousiville Eastern High School in Kentucky, where he was not that well-known except basically in the state of Kentucky. When he got to Oak Hill played with Josh Smith, they developed a friendship, it was one of the best teams I've ever had. Rajon went from a guy not even ranked in the top 10, to one of the best point guards in the country his senior year, an undefeated season, and a McDonald's All-American.
