I actually think he'll give the team a nice little spark at some point during the season, but I don't see the roster as being better than 45 wins next season. They won 49 this past year, but I see them taking a small step back. They have some big holes in their game.
I don't think Kidd will have any problems with the egos of the squad because I'm sure management went to Deron and Brook and got their blessing on the hiring. They are the two "stars" of the team. Then again, if he does clash with Deron at some point during the season I can see this team missing the playoffs.
It will be interesting, and maybe that's all the Nets care about.
