Offer was he opt into his 11 million next year, then it would add 11.8 and 13 the following two, for 3 years, just about 36 million.

It would appear he just doesn't want to be in Milwaukee anymore as I just can't see him doing better than that on the open market.

He must really not like Mil Town to turn down that much money. I agree I don't think he'll do much better than 36 mil on tha open market but this makes it interesting for tha ones here that like to do trade ideas.

The article doesn't mention Ellis turning down the extension and it's a 3 year extension that begins after the upcoming season.

I'll be surprised if Monte can get better than that per year for the next 3. There aren't too many teams willing to commit that amount to him after this CBA began.

Monta Ellis could be a good fit in Dallas alongside Dirk Nowitzki.

  • TRANSFORMATION INTO CHAMPION COMPLETE!!!
Monte is one of those players that I think is going to bounce around a lot. I doubt he gets more than that offer on the open market, however, I more than understand his desire to leave the Bucks. That is a franchise that just has zero attraction. Question is if that was too high of an offer on the Bucks part, sure Monte is a proven scorer, but he's undersized and hasn't done anything playoff-wise.

That's a lot of money to turn down.

Either his agent think he can get more somewhere (because Monta Ellis have it all) or he does not want to play for Milwaukee.

I say Bucks dodge a bullet. I'd honestly just resign Redick, extend QO to Jennings and let Monta walk.

Yes, where does the idea that he turned it down come from?

While he was not this season, I agree with you. Monta can score with the rest of the NBA.

Monta Ellis is so much more than just a scorer.  He has a really bad reputation for no reason at all.  He's a good leader, defender and a guy that really does everything for a team.  Love his toughness too.

I'd Love to have Monta. He can handle the ball, score, and get assist. Averaged 6 per game this year. Like above he does get a bad rap. You put him with a winning team, he more than likely strives.

guy is a chucker.  Poor man's Iverson.  I always felt like he was holding back Steph Curry.  He's small and he shoots 41%... bleh
