Truly, my dislike for the current Heat team doesn't come close to the deep, burning hate created by the Lakers, Knicks and Sixers of my youth. Those Detroit Bad Boys teams were just easy to fall into a deep dislike of that the Heat dislike hasn't even caught up to them. I don't like Lebron and Wade and am apathetic towards Bosh, but I despised 6-7 players on that Pistons team.

I dislike the Clippers because of how they were run for so many years. I am pretty down on the Grizzlies at the moment because of how they dumped Rudy Gay for financial reasons. That rubbed me the wrong way.

I also have little interest in Orlando, Phoenix and Charlotte due to the lack of talent currently on their rosters. That makes five.

Okay, gotta ask.

If you do not have the Lakers at the top of your hated teams list, is it because as a young person falling for basketball as a sport that you really liked the Shaq/Kobe Lakers of 200-2003 with their threepeat and everything?

I find that a lot of my sons friends that are Celtics fans don't have that much Laker hate because they really love those Laker teams when they were just starting to follow the NBA.

Of course I suggested strongly that my boys read up on the history of the NBA and sure enough, they hate the Lakers now. ;D
