I saw this trade on realgm and wanted to hear what my fallow green-bleeders think  ;D

Boston out: Pierce - Bradley
Boston in: Al Jefferson - Bledsoe

Why Boston: Gets a Center

LA out: Bledsoe - Caron Butler
LA in: Pierce - 21 pick from jazz

Utah out:  Al Jefferson (sign and trade 14 million) - 21 Pick
Utah in: Bradley - Caron Butler

Utah why: gets a young PG to add to the mix and complete their young starting 5

I really don't like these trade ideas where we trade PP for B-level type players (Josh Smith, Jefferson, Millsap etc). Those guys won't turn us into contender and it limits our cap flexibility going forward.

You need A-level type players to win in the NBA. Committing  your cap space to a B-level type players is a road to nowhere.

If we trade Pierce and/or KG it should be for picks/young prospects. If we can't get that, we are better of staying with Rondo/Bradley/Pierce/Green/KG for one more year. That team is still playoff team in the east although it has second round exit ceiling.

I like it but I think Utah could get more for Jefferson and the draft pick
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.
