Honestly, is that what we really need to see. Say what you want about Magic Johnson, and have gotten to like the guy the further he his removed from the lakers, but he has always tended to emphasize money a bit much. He was the first to break the million dollar mark in BB. I also remember a comment he made when he was playing that if MJ got some deal, everyone knows he and Bird would be calling their respective teams asking for a raise too. He is also the one that came up with 'money time' to describe the critical part of key games and playoff games. He tends to emphasise money.

LeBron makes MVP and Magic dwells on him not having commercials and he is calling out 'these people' Simmons asked him who are these people? He did not have a coherent answer.

Memo to Magic, just a couple of years ago LeBron was all over Nike comercials, you could not have turned on your TV without a LeBron commercial. To be a point man for products you must be liked perhaps the public does not want to buy stuff peddled by a greedy ring chasing multi-millionaire who cannot even be loyal to his hometown team, or use his fame and fortune to uplift a depressed city.
Chicago Bulls was a crappy team and it took MJ hanging in there to turn the fotunes of that team. Perhaps Magic and Simmons should stick to basketball instead of telling companies who can picth for them
