Are we looking at players that can't be moved?

Bass has 2 years left at 6.9 million a season
Terry has 2 years left at 5.5 million a season
Lee has 3 years left at 5.5 million a season

Is it possible to dump these guys or are we stuck with them?  They were all below-average producers this year and they are all paid significantly higher than the minimal level players they are.

Give me some ideas of who you could see trading for them.. can we get anything beyond a salary dump?

I think all three have value, especially Lee. Depends what you are looking to get back though.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I think Bass regained his value after the last two months of his performance.

Terry probably regained his value after the last three games of the postseason.

Lee was a bust deal for us.

i think all those guys are pretty tradeable. None of their contracts are prohibitive. I think Bass regained a lot of his value after a tough start to the season. I thought he played great down the stretch and in the playoffs.

I think all are movable but it depends on what you want back and think is good value. There's a bunch of cash invest in those three over the next three years. For bench role players, that isn't good.

I definitely think Courtney Lee could be moved and I think you could get something good for him -- solid rotation piece or expiring contract or even a late first round pick.

I don't think you can much at all for Bass or Terry. Most likely a reclamation project (M.Beasley, Ty Thomas) or someone with an equally bad or even worse contract or you take a downgrade for a more friendly contract. To get an expiring contract, I think Danny would have to add additional assets to the deal (draft picks) to get something done.

Slight chance someone thinks Jason Terry isn't cooked and could do better elsewhere but I'd rate those odds as being fairly low. In that case though, an expiring contract might be possible. Given his age, it's unlikely they'd offer anything more than that.

I would like to see whether a Courtney Lee for Luke Ridnour swap might be possible. Ridnour would be an excellent caretaker at the PG position while we wait for Rondo to come back to full strength. Ridnour is also on an expiring contract. It's been said that Minnesota is looking for a SG, although that was before Flip Saunders took over in the front office.

I'd prefer to keep Bass, until we know for sure how Sullinger's rehab progresses.

With Terry, his deal is only 2 years long. He'll be an expiring chip next year, and possibly a target on the trade market. No real rush to move that deal.

That extra year on Lee's deal, plus the roster imbalance at SG, makes him the odd man out, I think.

I think I'd prefer JJ Barea over Luke Ridnour. That extra dribble penetration. I think this team really needs that. More dribble penetration. Badly.

I also think Brandon's decent play in the NYK series probably helps his trade value a bit.  He played some good hard def against melo.  For teams who were worried about his effort and ability on D I think that helps.

I mean everything depends on what happens with KG and PP.  Depending on what happens to them I could see options where bass is packaged for a younger big.  I could also see DA keeping bass as a PF until he can get the deal he wants to bring in the new blood.

I'd personally package all 3 (combined 16.8 million) in a salary dump for an expiring contact... like to Brooklyn for Kris Humphries (terrible player, but on the books for only one more season at 12 mil) ... or to Golden State for the expiring contract of Richard Jefferson.  Whatever team could use some bench depth and can give us a guy only under contract for one more season.   If we have to give up 2nd rounders to get it done, so be it.  If we can somehow land a young asset/late draft pick in the process... that's a huge bonus.

Operating under the assumption KG retires... at this point it's about cleaning the slate, TANKING, freeing up future cap room and acquiring draft picks.  Those guys are possible rotation players on a playoff team... they have no place in a total rebuild.

Alternatively, if KG returned... would Bass + Lee + Terry + Sully + our 1st rounder (#16 pick) ... total of 18.1 mil... be enough to land Pau Gasol and his 19 mil expiring contract?

Because if so, PG - Rondo, SG - Pierce, SF - Green, PF - KG, C - Pau Gasol... would at least be an interesting option for the "run it back!" crowd.

Good. Hopefully that helps Danny trade him.

Bass has value for a team that sees its road to the title going through the Knicks and Heat and needs someone who can guard Carmelo and Lebron.

I think something like Bass and Lee plus whatever Chinese leaguers are need to balance salary for Carlos Boozer might make sense from Chicago's perspective, but I am not sure what assets the Bulls can throw in to make it a good trade for Boston.  Maybe Bass and Lee (or Terry) to the Nets for Mirza Teletovic and either Gerald Wallace or Kris Humphries.
