Lots of people saying this year was not worth it.  Me, I'm glad we've taken it as far as we could.  Whatever happens this offseason, I would not give these last six years back for anything.

They fought hard but ran out of gas.  They still have the heart of a champion.  If we had Rondo & Sully we win this series.

I don't know if we would have won with Rondo and Sully or not.  But I do know that I was super proud of our guys last stand in the 4th quarter.  I was screaming and cheering at the TV pulling for them.

Also, I think it is a really good sign for our team that it was JG and AB that were leading the comeback.  I don't know what was up with AB for the whole series, but he almost single-handedly won the game for us tonight.  If he can be who he was most of this year and not the guy in the knicks series he can help the team.  Same with Green.  He showed up huge in this series.

I don't think Rondo/Green/AB/Sully alone is enough to be a playoff team, but there is a lot of heart in those four players, and KG and PP have obviously influenced all four a lot. If we can pair them with a talented big, and bigger SG then we are headed in the right direction.

Love this team, and I'm extremely proud of them, as I am every year.

Whatever changes come, Celtic Pride is alive and well, and the best thing is that I'll be feeling this way at the end of next season, too.

My Boyz were short-handed and filling holes all year long, and went FAR beyond where they "should" have.

I am a Celtic ... always will be.

Love these guys.

Even without them, if they had played smart on the offensive side, they could've swept the Knicks.

2-0 when scoring 90 points... smh.

I'm proud of this team, the run in the 4th was just amazing. I had my doubts about Green and thought he didn't reach his full potential but he has shown in these playoffs that he is on the right way, one year after heart surgery. Amazing.

As I wrote in the other thread I created

Quote
Hats off to this year's Celtics team. Rondo out with torn ACL. Barbosa out with torn ACL. Sullinger out with a bad back. Three players from China on your team to fill out your bench.

Yet they fought. They came out with two prideful old dogs in Pierce & Garnett, half-a-heart-but-turning-into-an-amazing-player Green, a defense oriented guard who always dribbles with his right hand in Bradley who shouldn't be running any offense, and Mr. Bass (with a little Terry cockiness off the bench). Yet they fought.

Love my Celtics.

You are so right as well. All of you. I LOVE THESE GUYS. So sad to see yet another season end.

TP for the positivity.

Glad I have gotten to root for these guys over these last few years, KG, Pierce and Doc especially.

Since the days of Rick Pitino, Jim O'Brien, Antoine, John Carroll all the way to the likes of Ricky Davis, The Glove's short stint in Boston, and to Starbury in green. I've always loved this team and will never stop bleeding green.

I remember those dreadful years before the Big 3 era where we couldn't contend for anything. There was a glimmer of hope with Pierce and Antoine though. Although the team stayed mediocre for almost 2 decades and they hit a new low in the 06-07 season when they lost 18 in a row.. I still watched every game on CSN with Mike and Tommy.

I will continue rooting for this proud franchise until the end. It was one hell of a run.

You guys should feel [dang] proud of your team...Can hold your heads high. Didn't completely fold like the Lakers.
