We are the first team in playoff history to have 2 perfect freethrow shooting games throughiut playoffs- not series, entire playoffs.
I remember thinking that we should have had game one then glancing over the stats realized that shooting perfect at the line probably helped a ton.
Now after last night you continue to see how important those free throws can be. Its always easier said than done and no one ever expects a team to shoot that well at the line but it has really helped us.
I feel like its just part of the mentality right now and the whole scrapping thing. We are fighting for each point and not taking anything for granted. Also great to see Green getting to the line so often, knocking them down, and knocking them down under pressure.
Sidenote: I feel like Green is underrated in the clutch. Hes def not a paul pierce type but I feel like I always see him knock down free throws late in games and he seems like he has a knack for hitting big shots late in games . I even remember him doing it ahainst the Cs a couple years back
