Should the Celtics use their amnesty clause on Brandon Bass this summer and try to bring in an actual big? I cant see paying him nearly 7 million a year to play behind Sullinger. When bass isn't hitting his jumper hes almost completely useless. Average at best rebounder, does not pass well, terrible decision making, low BBIQ, bad hands... He's undersized to be playing the 4 at 6'6'' and he gets abused when Doc plays him at the 5. The areas where he struggles the most are the areas in which Sullinger excels in.

I was also thinking that they could use the clause on either Terry or Lee, However, they have more value in the sense that they can play multiple positions and will hopefully have a better feel for both offensive and defensive schemes in their second season with the team.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I hate to say it but amnesty Pierce.

Trade Bass and Jet for picks or expiring contracts to clear up our salary

Let KG retire and use the stacked 2014 draft and FA to rebuild

We could potentially see both Pierce and Kobe amnestied this summer. You never know, Kobe could then come here and Pierce could go to the lakers. Unlikely, but not out of the realm of possibility.

Amnesty Clause can only be used on contacts created before the new CBA I'm now assuming? That is very unfortunate, 3 terrible contracts...

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
The only way we can get him out is to trade him to a contender who values him highly for a cheaper return.

To me it's better than keeping him. I like his effort during the Playoffs, but he is way overpaid and we have other players who can take his spot and get the same production for less.

Someone will take him for a 2nd round pick, it's a matter of Danny accepting the fact that he has to give him for cheap.
