Is Mike Breen drinking? How does he not know the quarter just ended lol

Breen said Pierce is one of the best in the game at drawing fouls. Yea, maybe if you count all the fouls he draws that they never call. Pierce rarely gets to the line.

This is so not fun to watch. Every time Boston scores (which isn't often), New York matches it, even if it's a three. Great D for 24 seconds, then surrendering an offensive rebound. And of course, Doc not trying anything new, like, oh, playing someone who can actually rebound.
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body.

Box score says Knicks have 3 offensive rebounds and Boston has 6.

That doesn't feel right.

It absolutely blows my mind that after getting destroyed 2 games in a row, our big adjustment is to put our "big" man on the bench (the only guy on the team who has consistently played hard).

Rondo's ability to orchestrate and facilitate the half court offense and have his offense end up shooting at a high percentage, is what this team so desperately needs. Rondo is the best floor general in the league. You need a player like that in the slow it down, half court, tough it out world of the NBA playoffs.

The Celtics are by and large a young, inexperienced team in the playoffs.  The Knicks have tons of playoff experience on that roster.  Not to mention Prigioni who has lots of experience overseas.

The Knicks have the edge in composure, and it shows.

Are we really surprised that these guys have been unreliable in big games?

I think it is mostly the absence of dribble penetration.

Nobody who can get inside a set defense and force the Knicks team defense off balance.
