Except, we came back in Game 2 and won it on road.

Its not like we can't come back and win, because we can.

I see this series very similar to Celtics-Cavs in 2010 Playoffs.

Now, I am waiting for all CB users to reply to this thread telling me how we are older and we are missing rondo and so can't win.

Don't forget going down 0-2 vs Miami, which was way better than NY

Yup! That also when Pierce and Allen were playing injured and our bench had close to no talent whatsoever.

LOL if you really think that Rondo in 2010 is the same as 2012 or 2013 Rondo.

We were also down to the Hawks 1-0 on the road last season and won game 2 without Rondo and still won the series in 6!

I guarantee a game 2 win.

And a series win.

I do really think Rondo 2010 is basically the same as Rondo 2012/2013 (check the stats).

Even if you disagree, Rondo 2012/2013 is better than nothing.

Also I'm not counting out the Celtics in this series, but I'm not expecting much in these playoffs.

I am happy to see that there are at least some people other than me who believe we will win, unlike others who are writing us off, crying about it and thinking we are not capable to do anything.

I dont see losing game 1 as a big deal at all. Unless you thought we were going to sweep the knicks why would losing the first game be a big deal, especially when we got only 4 points from the bench.

  Yeah, he's clearly better now.

Yeah, you're leaving out the most important part --

Rondo outplayed the MVP of the league in that series.  That's why we won.  That's why it was perhaps the most remarkable series of the entire Big 3 era.  It was a great series, and Games 4 and 5 were incredible.

Not to mention the role players who stepped up for us that year . . . TA, Sheed, Perk, Nate, BBD.  We don't have anybody like that on our team this season.

Well, we're not playing the MVP of the league in this series, so who cares?

Right, we're only playing the league's leading scorer (who happens to have grown into a very capable defender and solid rebounder).  Melo is not the best player in the league, but he's certainly one of the very best, and he's a legitimate MVP candidate this season.

If you want to make the comparison between that 2010 series and this one, you have to tell me who on our team is going to play like an MVP candidate for the next 4-6 games.
