This season I go for #5

PG - Jason Kidd
SG - JJ Redick
SF - Josh Smith
PF - Carlos Boozer
C - Kevin Garnett
Bench - Mo Williams, Caron Butler, Kendrick Perkins, John Salmons, Steve Blake

All time I go for #6

PG - Avery Johnson
SG - Julius Erving
SF - LeBron James
PF - Kenyon Martin
C - Bill Russell

I don't care, you give me the best champion and defensive player the sport has ever seen in Russell as well as a transcendent superstar like Erving along with LeBron James, then the #6's destroy anyone else.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Edit.

I did not see the just for this season part

23.

Marcus Camby
Anthony Davis
LeBron James
Draymond Green
Kevin Martin

Lebron is 6

Oh yeah that's right. I was still thinking historical... LOL

I guess I need a redo.

I'd go number 3.

Omer Asik / Kenyon Martin
Jeremy Tyler / Al Harrington / Perry Jones III
Jared Dudley / Stephen Jackson
Dwyane Wade / Bradley Beal / Dion Waiters
Chris Paul / Kyle Lowry / Brandon Jennings

I guess I still win.

I would take 33 all-time for sentimental reasons but 32 is pretty good (if you don't mind playing the Mailman at SF, heh)::

Magic
Dr. J
Karl Malone
Kevin McHale
Shaquille O'Neal

(Also using Dr. J's number with the Nets.)

Not sure if anyone else has seen this, or if it ruins the fun, but:

Slightly off-topic, but I chuckled when I saw this -

And

Different sports, but same jersey #. :)

May the spirit of Roy Hobbs rest with BOS the next week or so AND with Rajon Rondo as he gets ready to suit it up in Green next yr.
