Yes, the Thunder lost.  I can't stand that team and it's mostly because of Durant.  Nobody, not even Lebron, gets as many chintzy calls as he does.  He's also still doing the rip-thru every game, getting two free throws when they're in the penalty.  It bugs to me no end because it's so annoying when it's overdone but also because nobody does it against him.  Come on NBA players, man up, get retribution.  If I was a coach, I would direct my players to it against him non-stop until he fouls out of the game after 10 minutes of playing time.  Do that enough times and not only will he stop but maybe the NBA will change that move to a non-foul or an offensive foul.  How is it a foul on the defender if he's just standing there, as is his right and an opponent just throws his arms into his?

For my money, unless you can get the guy in the air, the foul should be on the player that initiates contact.

While I do like that "Saint Kevin" is getting on people's nerves (finally! it only took, what, six years?) the dude is a great player and a lot of fun to watch.

That said, I agree with Chuck--they shouldn't be using him as a point forward as often as they are.

If Marc Gasol didn't have games where he disappeared offensively, he'd be a top 3 player in the league.

Another gratifying thing about watching the last four or five Thunder games is seeing Ibaka's shot go south.  Now, I don't have anything against him.  He doesn't do anything exceedingly annoying like Durant does two or three times over but Ibaka's been a lights-out shooter the past two or three years.  I'd be willing to concede that he can shoot, his form is good and all but nailing them again and again and even from three point range like this season?  No way.  I'm glad to see the pendulum swing away from the Nowitzkiesque mid-range shooting for Ibaka.  Finally, finally, finally.  If the Thunder are going to win, fine but let's not let that come about because all their players play above their heads at the same time.

I love how physical Chicago's playing Miami. They aren't as physical as they would like others to think they are. Chicago can knock them off their game and sneak out of Miami with anothr win.

I'd love to see Chris Bosh attack the offensive boards more often.

Such a good offensive rebounder when he is aggressive.

  • Be the posts you wish to see in the world.
David $tern is rigging the TV feed to make the Bulls' offense look like hot garbage.

I don't understand why Rose won't just cop to sitting out the whole season. It's the right move (IMO), but no one is being served by this stupid "well maybe he'll suit up" nonsense.
