Memphis looking nasty!  Have fun OKC...getting bounced next round that is.

Weren't you the guy that said OKC would be so much better without Westbrook?  You seem to have abandoned that flawed thought process quickly.

More about how Memphis is playing than OKC.  I'd pick OKC to lose even with West"loser".

Memphis plays big-boy basketball.  I'll take that over OKC's style any day.

Except when OKC beat Memphis two years ago, I assume.

Memphis is better now.  OKC also does not have Harden, which is the guy they should have kept.  OKC traded the wrong guy.

OKC played the same style that you hate though.  And Memphis played "big-boy basketball".  They both played the same "style".

What you seem to mean is that you'll take Memphis style any day (if they have better players) and you'll take OKC style any day (if they have better players).  Which kind of renders the terminology "any day" pointless.

In other words, your conclusion doesn't seem to be based on style at all, just based on who you think has better players at the given time.

Joey "Hitman" Crawford is doing work. Tosses CP3 (Gasol really sold that hit), then tosses Zach Randolph a few seconds later.

I heard Marc Gasol is still playing with an abdominal tear, which if true means CP3 took a cheapshot.

For once I agree with the officials.

There was definitely some unnecessary contact.

He always seems so chippy and whiny. Flops and throws cheap shots. If you want dirty players, don't look in Boston, there's at least one in L.A. and at least another in Miami.

Yeah exactly, off a free throw he made a beeline straight for Marc Gasol and tried to run through him with forearms raised. He knew what he was doing. I appreciate that it was a pretty physical series but trying to hurt a guy like that just isn't cricket.

Yes, this is true.  In my haste, I probably over-exaggerated a bit.  I do prefer "big-boy" basketball though.

But yes, if small-ball works, then go ahead and play it.  Not as if I can sit here and deny how good Miami is.

Man, this will be really embarrassing for the Brooklyn Nets if they get knocked out by this Chicago Bulls team minus Derrick Rose.

Down 10 in the fourth. Game 7.

Excellent hustle by Noah to keep back to back plays alive with his offensive rebounding. Chicago scores off both possessions to go back up 10 after Brooklyn had cut it to 5.

Lovely extra pass by Nate Robinson too to setup Belinelli for that wide open three. Nate could have taken the contested shot in the paint but saw his shooter in space and made a really good play.

Big miss by Joe Johnson. They really needed that one. Never looked right going up for that shot. Didn't jump right. Clearly off as soon as it left his hand.

Brooklyn Nets, built to defeat the Miami Heat.

Gets beat by Chicago Bulls.

Now this is a series that will be interesting! A rematch two years ago!

Nothin' but respect for the Bulls, such a gritty, tough team.  Brooklyn on the other hand, not so much.

Used to absolutely hate Noah, even when he was at Florida.  But he's a true warrior and a great player, would love to see him in Celtic green.  Jimmy Butler too, love this kid.  Solid all around player, tough defender.  It's unfortunate that his playing time is going to be dictated by referee whistles against the Heat.

Heat in 5 or 6 against this depleted Bulls team, but the Bulls ain't going down without a fight.
