Couldn't watch or follow due to a personal conflict...

But looking at the score, 120 points! My longtime dream! We haven't scored 120 points for so long, and we finally did it tonight!

Not only that, KG and Pierce both played... and it doesn't look like we let the other team mount a comeback! What kind of sorcery is this?? Scoring more points than the other team in the fourth quarter?  :o

And this is exactly the type of game I was preaching all season...

17 points for Jeff
14 points for Bass (6/7)
17/9 for KG (7/8)
12/6/8 for Pierce
14 points for Bradley
20 points for Lee (yes!!)
16 points for Craw (awesome!)
4/6 for Wilcox (2/2 in under 20mins!)
7 points for TWill

When we do this, get seven player s in double digits with efficient shooting from our guards Lee and Crawford, we're hard to stop. This win over lowly Orlando (JET must feel relieved) will definitely change our team's "culture" and boost confidence. That new lineup appears to have worked, but the bench is what really set us apart (seeing as we outscored them in the 2nd/4th... still can't believe we outscored them in the 4th)

This was a great win over a terrible team, and we really needed it.

Feel better Celtics fans! We don't have to complain about firing Doc and trading KG anymore!  :P

I'll take a win over one of the worst teams in the NBA, over a loss to one of the worst teams in the NBA anyday (and especially the days before the Playoffs)

Confidence ftw

I agree.

The Celtics have had a tendancy to get complascent against poor teams and get blown out by them in the past.  Today we blew them out by a good 30 or so points, which is exactly what you hope to do against a bad team.

People seem to forget that in the NBA there really aren't bad teams.  Every player in this league can play, and every team can (and will) beat you if you don't respect them.

A ~30 point win against ANY team is nothing to scoff at.

Very true and we need the momentum, but im saying. Knowing the trend of these forums we are going to have people saying THIS IS IT!!! THIS IS WHAT WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!! and then the next game something may happen and then its all trade rondo talks and blow it up scenarios

I watched this game and saw how everybody was looking for the open man. On defense the help was there and we kept them to 88 points. Their starting five was -119 and our starting five was +100!!! Even our bench was +58 with Randolph being the only one negative with -7. While their bench was -41 and together they were -160!!

If we play like we did against Magic, we could make a run to the finals. Nobody has to be "The Man" on a team, the Pistons proved that in 2004. If every player understands his role and accepts it. Anything is possible! GO CELTICS!!!

120-88 . . . what happens when two NBA teams with completely opposite goals play late in the season.

The Magic had no interest in trying to win that game.

I didn't watch the game either, but it's the Magic.
So if you didn't expect the win, sorry for ya.

We play the Pacers and Raptors next. I actually hope Doc just lets the bench play. Rest ALL the starters and JET.

They would've gotten a more competitive game playing the Red Claws.

But after seeing them against the Bobcats....Just glad they showed up.

Yep. We rarely have 30-point blowouts.

Can't remember the last one...was it against the Raptors back in November?!  ::)
