I'm listening to tha Salk & Holley show on WEEI.com where they had Danny Ainge on. Michael Holley stated now that Rondo is out, there has to be a guy that can take over a game in tha playoffs like Rondo can. He then went on to say that both KG and Pierce were those guys in their prime but can they still play at a high enough level to help this team advance in tha playoffs.

Ainge was then asked if he can rely on KG or Pierce to turn back tha clock. Now most of us here know that both KG and Pierce turns up tha dial come playoff time. But Ainge said they have to have flashbacks but this team needs  balance and production. He said Green, Lee, Bradley, Bass, and Terry will have to be productive and give a more balanced effort instead of just one guy having a 40 point game.

I'm sure most of us here can agree to that but what's your thoughts on this? I think Ainge is right. For this team to have any chance in tha playoffs everyone will have to contribute and 6 or 7 guys will have to put up double figures in points.

I forgot to mention Ainge was also asked about KG's walking boot. They wanted to know if KG is 100%, what's tha logic behind him wearing a walking boot. Ainge said it's 'Just Precautionary'.
