What do you think will happen next season?

I am wondering if the Celtics will keep Pierce and KG for 2013-2014. My reasoning is this: By all accounts the 2014 draft will be loaded. The best since 2003 with a number of franchise changing players. If the team were to trade those two for prospects and picks and let the team start the rebuilding process we would most likely end up in the lottery. That would give us a crack at another superstar caliber player.

It seems this is the way to go. I can not see the point in keeping KG and PP around next year. They do not have the ability to win a title with this team. I would rather see them go to teams where they have a chance, a legit chance to win another ring.

I think Paul will be back.  I'm starting to have my doubts that KG will be able to go for another season.

I think Paul and KG will both retire after this year, at which point we will trade them before they file their papers.

 If they both return and RR does, I expect us to be competative.   Having RR and Sully back will make us deeper.   I would expect us to deal some of the back ups now.   I think Shav might stick.   We will get a decent player in the draft.

If KG retires.   I expect us to deal PP.

They'll either both be back with the Celtics next year, or KG will retire and Pierce will be traded.

My money is on both being back with the Celtics, for one final (for real this time) hurrah.  Rondo is quite likely to be ready for the start of the season, so I'd wager a guess that KG will want one last chance with 'Mini-G'.

I expect next season to be the last year of KG and Paul.

I also expect this offseason danny will try to focus on consolidating some of the SG talent and trying to find a 3rd big who better fits with KG+Sully than bass does.

this is probably the most likely scenario.  too many inconsistant guards and not enough productive bigs.

I think we'll see what was initially expected from this team. But i'm excited for next season. Our missing pieces will return, we'll have a complete team, and I have a feeling Rondo will up his game next season. We've seen what this team can do with and without Rondo so we definitely have tha talent. Next season will be an improvement and tha Celtics will be scary.

As far as Paul Pierce and KG goes, I still don't see them going anywhere. They make this team competitive, along with Rondo. Without both KG and Pierce this current roster doesn't even make tha playoffs.
