I really think if the Knicks can get somewhat healthy, they will be a real threat in the East. Perhaps the only real threat to take down the Heat. They remind me a lot of the Mavs from a couple years ago. 1 elite scorer who is near unstoppable when he is hot, a bunch of quality role players and tough, veteran leaders, and very underrated defense, with arguably the best defensive big man in basketball manning the middle.
It will take a lot to beat the Heat, but if Melo can get hot, then they might have a shot at it.
