1. Why am i still watching?

2. Does Doc really think this team can comeback?

3. Do you think the Celtics will get eliminated in the 1st round?

I'll play...

1. Waiting for Doc to unleash DJ and Randolph

2. No.

3. Likely, yes

I think the first round is going to be pretty much a 50-50 proposition. They have very little real separation from any of the teams around them. New York, Brooklyn, Indiana, Atlanta. All would be tough series'. Winnable but also losable. Could go either way. Very little in it.

Maybe a slight edge to Boston. Say 52-48. Hardly any separation. So closely matched to the teams around them in the East and below Miami.

Even though we don't always agree, I'm trying to give everyone a TP. I truly enjoy all the company while watching the games.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Are you seriously saying Bass is a rotation quality player right now?  Are we arguing about that?  There's a very good chance that Randolph and White are worse or the same but even if the chance that they're better FOR WHAT THIS TEAM needs, aka rebounding, is tiny, why not at least give them a chance.  They're on the roster, they're signed for the year, why are they on the team if a crap player like Bass is going to play heavy minutes.  That's a huge failing by Doc and Ainge, no?
Bass is a rotation caliber player. He's not a starting level player who should be getting 30+ as de facto center which is what he's been put into with KG out. He really shouldn't be getting 30 minutes at PF either.

DJ White is barely a better rebounder than Bass and a much worse defender.

Randolph has gotten so few minutes the past few years I have no idea what he's capable of. The few stretches I've seen him this year he was pretty bad on the glass though. (Charlotte? Just got muscled around a lot)

I have to say, Ainge going on a signing frenzy in the Chinese League and then trading for a player in Crawford who had been kicked out of the rotation of a struggling team is not looking for him right now.
