With the "latest" round of injuries, speaking of KG and Courtney...I am beginning to feel as though we may as well just call it a season and regroup for next year.  Let the end of bench players play the rest of the schedule out and just forget about this season. If KG isn't playing, what's the use of making the playoffs? Also with him, his past injuries and the truthfulness from the team to the media about the severity of his injuries, leads me to believe there's probably more going on with him than what's being reported. Also, no Courtney means more JT and JC and I could stand to do without either of those two for extended periods.  Am I saying tank the rest of the season? Absolutely YES! With the injuries we've had I say we overachieved already. It was good run for a stretch but the breeze has stopped blowing and the sail has settled.  Let's just coast and not allow any other serious injuries happen the rest of the way.

No to giving up, giving up would have been trading the captain and kg
Its going to be tough, but the celtics are not giving up

We can give up on the regular season, I don't mind, We're not getting a top-3 seed, most likely, and I hate the idea of 4/5. As long as the young ones keep us in seventh, play them all every game for 30 minutes,

The playoffs will be a whole 'nother story.

I agree, we can beat Miami once if given seven tries  ;D

Lol....exactly. I hate what injuries have done to our season, but as much as I drink the green kool-aid, I am a realist.  No way in hades are we gonna even come close to beating Miami in a series.

Huh? The season was over when Rondo tore his ACL.

THIS is what worries me most about our chances, however slim they may be, down the stretch and into the playoffs....

SteveBHoop
Bottom line from Ainge on KG: Injury not serious, but C's want to give him time to get right for postseason.

ESPNForsberg
Ainge believes KG suffered sprain vs. Hornets. Played on it vs. Dallas and it got worse. Team being overly cautious with long-term in mind.

Ainge lies!  >:(

did we give up when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? NO!
Of cause NO! Because of 2 reasons
1. We never give up even in such difficult situation
2. Germans never bombed Pearl Harbor

our season and playoff hopes were done when we lost to the Bobcats twice, the Bucks thrice, the Pistons every single time...the list goes on....
