-Four losses in a row (two of them to teams below 500.)

-The pace of the way the team is playing, it's like they just don't care. They only play in intervals and that's it.

-Doc is starting to become a really big crybaby with the officiating. Usually a sign that the team's quality of play is for the birds.

-Injuries starting to creep back up (KG and Courtney Lee.)

Speaking of injuries, the KG situation is starting to become borderline frightening. He's missed 3 of the team's last 5 games and I think there's alot more to it than just "rest." How many more games does he need off?

-Terry makes a questionable comment about Lee not getting back up quick enough, last night

-They play the Knicks twice next week and Atlanta and the Knicks crushed Toronto tonight (I know it's just Toronto, but don't forget the Knicks are also banged up.)

-NOT looking good and if I am suppose to believe that come playoff time everything is just going to miraculously fix itself, then the Celts are going to have to send out their best salesman

I'm inclined to believe this is just a ploy to not get a 4th/5th seed ;D Play Miami in the ECF, is what Danny is betting on!

-The pace of the way the team is playing, it's like they just don't care. They only play in intervals and that's it.

We can hope that they will always care in the playoffs (well, no duh, playoffs are BIG)

-Doc is starting to become a really big crybaby with the officiating. Usually a sign that the team's quality of play is for the birds.

He always has been... nothing new, from what I've noticed.

-Injuries starting to creep back up (KG and Courtney Lee.)

What can we do? At least no more major ones... yet/if ever

-Terry makes a questionable comment about Lee not getting back up quick enough, last night

He's always too talkative, LBJ says it.. Dallas fans say it.. it's our turn now. Nothing we can change, really!

-They play the Knicks twice next week and Atlanta and the Knicks crushed Toronto tonight (I know it's just Toronto, but don't forget the Knicks are also banged up.)

What's wrong? Just get a 6th/7th seed. I don't like Miami in round two!

-NOT looking good and if I am suppose to believe that come playoff time everything is just going to miraculously fix itself, then the Celts are going to have to send out their best salesman

This team isn't headed anywhere.  They are mediocre and they have been almost all season.

They don't play an entertaining style of basketball, and they don't have the elite talent to win a lot of games.  So what are they good for?  Consistent frustration, that's what.

I really hope this is the last year of this.  Let KG and Pierce retire in the off-season or go somewhere else.  Get the rebuilding started.  No more ghost of a team embarrassing the memory of their former greatness.

This team, in its current state, will not advance out of the first round of the playoffs, regardless of whom they play.

The injuries are obvious detriments, but even worse is the lackadaisical, "show up when we feel like it" attitude.

People can be positive all they want, and I respect that, but this team has major issues and is going down the toilet fast.

There's only so many games you can win when your injury list looks like it is fielding a better starting five than the team the Celtics can put out there right now.

Injured: Garnett, Lee, Rondo, Sullinger, Barbosa

Today's starters: Bradley, Terry, Green, Pierce, Bass

And then to add insult to injury the Celtics bench today consisted of three guys that were not good enough to make any team for half the season, a guy who had heart surgery last year and a Washington Wizard castoff.

If this team isn't healthy, and I mean 100% healthy with Rondo and Sully being healthy, then they really were not going to be winning anything more significant than a first round playoff series anyway.

So what's the big deal?

yep, i feel the same way. we will get waxed in 4 or 5 games in the 1st round if we play like this. looks like the inevitable has come. KG and PP may retire after this year. then we can rebuild and move forward.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

Headed to the golf course at the end of April. With nothing to show for Pierce or Garnett in the way of a rebuild. Silly, really.

I don't know who you're watching, but when this team plays well I see a championship team.

And a bunch of fans who start complaining during every lose streak. This is the fourth losing streak we've had and the fourth time I've had to put up with this complaining!

Well, the team shouldn't be having these losing streaks. And they're playing well for no more than 10 or 15 minutes at a time. That ain't much more often than the Bobcats.

Eh, I'm not worried about it.  If anything, we may drop to the 8 seed and the team gets to play the one series it cares about right away.  I wouldn't be surprised if they actually prefer that.

That series with Miami is this team's championship.  I don't think they have enough in the arsenal to win that war, but that won't stop them from firing every last bullet they have.

I honestly just want this season over with. I can't watch this brand of dissapointing basketball anymore. The Celtics look like they don't care to play anymore most of the time, so why should I care to watch?

I had such crazy expectations for this year with the type if talent we have/had, (injuries have been a huge detriment to our success this year for sure.)

Whether we reload, or blow it up in the offseason, I just want a new season.

And whether its a new team, or the same team with a new energy and focus - I want something with consistent effort everynight.

Well said. And that's my biggest problem with this "flipping the switch" mumbo jumbo (if that's even the case, which I think it isn't. I am worried the team just can't beat other good teams, even if they try.)

If the players don't care to play consistent bball for 4 quarters, then why should I as a fan emotionally invest myself in them? That's why I get frustrated
