Without the preseason games against guys that don't make the league.

what ever danny ainge signed doc rivers must used them, and since a prediction of 1st round heat and a 1st round exit, kg terry pierce need to come fresh on playoffs time
maybe if we aquired gortat or jefferson or lets say mcgee or okafor or nene, or horford, i don't see doc bringing back kg at pf, he is so inlove with brandon bass

That's because Bass is the best active PF on the team right now.  (KG is a C and Green is a SF)

I like how we are talking about the end of the bench type of guys on our team.

Doc can't spread the minutes correctly or properly use the 2nd unit guys, what makes you guys think Doc will figure out how to implement these end of the bench guys?

Personally, I think Doc does his best coaching with the least amount of options.

The more options Doc has, the more it is a clusterfrak.

active?
he can't clogged the middle
he can't rebounds
he don't help kg on box out

i think white or randolph can do something we don't see given a minutes, if we meet heat in playoffs lebron goes sf, where is green? sitting on bench? pierce on lebron? bass can't even do something when players attack

Bass is better the White and Randolph

Green will play minutes at PF, but he is still a SF.

The Celtics big men after KG has been an issue all season.  A couple of fringe NBA players (and that is what they are right now) isn't going to make the difference.

what option? to play more on kg and pierce until playoffs out of gas? while someone  is sitting there fresh legs... i know in some team will let shavlik and d.j. sit too, but DNP's are too much. at least 10 minutes a game

but as iv'e said bass don't know how to used his body and lost most of the times in rotation... if we face the in playoffs, bass scoring lets say 10 points a game 4 rebounds, will that take us to win? i know randolph cannot get 10 points but given minutes, for me i think he can grabbed 8 or 7 or 9 or 10 but he is a foul trouble guy... i don't stick on wilcox, he does nothing 6 minutes 1 rebounds while kg is sitting on the bench, then birdman or battier is killing wilcox, its either kg and shavlik together on court or shavlik will back up kg as C,
on d.j. white he is everyone here says white is like brandon bass too, but he knows how to block the inside, on the new orleans vs celtics..should i put bass on davis? or lopez? example we face the lakers dwight grabbing 20+ rebounds with gasol on bass, what will be the outcome? do you think we will win? the offense is not really a problem, and as i said before if you forced lebron and wade hit long jump shots mid range or 3 points and missed, bass better be ready for rebounds, remember heat are perimeter shooters

If you are expecting White or Randolph to stop Lebron, your bubble is going to be burst.

Of course Bass isn't going to stop him either.  Pierce and Green will defend him.

But only one team has Lebron.

i'm not expecting shavlik and randolph to guard lebron, what i want from them is to help kg, at least by giving 10minutes below if thats the only minutes doc rivers can give, maybe 2 points each and 3 or 4 rebounds is not bad as long as when kg rest, and putting randolph 6'10 to pf gives us size, i'm not expecting but i think that, at least white or randolph can use there big bodies as jason collins did (POSITIONAL DEFENSE)

and brandon bass when guarded by big man, he seems lost in a game, he can't drive and attack, how can he hit those jump shots while big man tight DEFENSE on him

He can't guard Lebron an entire game, but I think Bass usually does okay when he finds himself switched onto Lebron for a few possessions per game.

same as shavlik and d.j. but at least they know how to used there big bodies, i know china is not nba where great players play, but seeing how they get back in shape coming back to nba from playing in china grabbing those rebounds, as shavlik said, what i did in china i want to do it in nba, action speaks louder than words, those 8 rebounds 4 offense and 4 defensive is not really bad to me in just 17 minutes, but the thing is doc don't trust them, they don't know the system? maybe yes and maybe no... but the role is rebounds and box out only + some scoring points

and if kg played all those minutes giving wilcox only 10 below?

One of those guys needs to get minutes. Going too small is not the winning formula.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.
