Not that we ever had a really good specialist in that area to begin with (Danny, do something!) but at least we had something going with Sully.  The guy was great for us on boards.  Rondo was also a very good rebounder.  Rondo went down and we was still riding high with Sully and now he's gone too (for the season).

Bass has done somewhat a decent job the past two games but I can't rely on someone that's been atrocious all season just because he had two decent rebounding games.

Remember when we beat the Heat, we had Sully.  How much impact would that have when we face them on Monday.

PS:  The Heat is going to be coming off of back-to-back games but this is a team that has Lebron and will be on 22 games winning streak when we meet.  So it doesn't matter if they're coming off of B2B, they can still hand us our behind on anyday.  Man, I hope we show up.

I always said when I left the Celtics, I could not go to heaven, because that would
be a step down. I am pure 100 percent Celtic. I think if you slashed my wrists, my
blood would’ve been green.  -  Bill "Greatest of All Time" Russell

I don't really understand your post.  You start by talking about rebounding as our main weakness, and yeah that's the most common way teams beat us.

But then you relate that to the Heat, who aren't a rebounding team.  In fact they're last in the league.  Chicago and Indiana are the teams to worry about.

You also relate Sullinger and the PF position to the Heat when Sullinger could never dream of guarding LeBron anyway.  He's going to be way more missed against Boozer and David West who routinely destroy Jeff Green, not to even mention New York where he let Amare single-handily lead a comeback this year.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

I think we have one the team...

no, no...i think he meant we are one team...or one team won...or the won team is one....or something.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
