He's lived up to the hype on that end of the court.

It's tough to maintain that level of defensive intensity and also have anything left in the tank for offense, though.  At some point we might see him ease up a bit if he's asked to do more on the other end.

Tonight was a good example of that.  Bradley expended a ton of energy limiting Westbrook.   Green and Pierce expended a ton of energy limiting Durant.  We knew it was going to come down to whether or not our other guards got hot. They didn't... so we lost.

Eh, I don't think Bradley is a good enough offensive player to worry about saving himself for scoring.  On a good night he's about as useful offensively as Lee is.  Which is nice, but we can get that elsewhere, too.
I think he is or will be a much better offensive player than Lee. He moves well without the ball and is an excellent cutter. His shooting form is great and I think his shooting will be very efficient in a couple of years once more offensive responsibility goes his way and he has Rondo playing beside him.

I disagree that he will ever be much better than lee offensively. He will be a 9-12ppg guy I think which I'm fine with if he can keep the defense at an elite level.

I'm already annoyed with the concept lee is currently that superior to Avery offensively...just not seeing Courtneys great offense sorry

Lee's been superior at finishing at the rim, pull up jumpers off the dribble, and at any 3 other than the corner 3.

Bradley will be 1st team All-Defense

He deserves to be 1st team all-defense but overrated defenders like Kobe keep taking up spots on the all-defensive first team. Hopefully it doesn't happen this year. Avery deserves it.

yes, I still haven't understood why great offensive players who are ok defenders make the all-defensive teams

I mean, it's the equivalent of saying Avery Bradley is a great defensive player who is ok on offense, therefore he should be considered a top offensive player at his position in the league

Because NBA head coaches actually have a pretty decent idea about how they prep for playing against them?

Meh, he also wasn't coming off double shoulder surgery...their offense is on the same level

Well yeah, they're both role players who aren't a disaster taking shots.

But offensively as a role player Lee's been better this season. Shoulder surgery might be the reason in your view, but it doesn't matter that so far this season Lee's been the better offensive player. Lee's just plain making more shots.

Avery's young so he clearly is more likely to grow as a player.
