Dick Bavetta sucks.

he needs glasses ,  that was as clean block as you'll see.

They seem to be doing something different on defense tonight, but it is working. Every shot contested and the weird Saturday night crowd at the garden likes it,

if sully can bang down low and get some easy buckets off the glass it would really help going forward.

I predict a BIG run in the 3rd from the 6ers.

I just don't believe Philly has a roster that can handle a deficit like this. Now, if the Celtics start playing sloppy and lazy...anything can happen of course.

Great half..not to nitpick, but why only 7 mins for Green, especially with Pierce playing big mins last night?  I think Doc needs to be playing Paul on something closer to the KG plan.....

Yeah, you would think that would be the smart thing to do, but not the doc thing to do.

Doc isn't smart?  I'd say he probably knows more than most of us (certainly not all of us).

Come on Pierce, just make the easy pass to Rondo.

Like we heard in last night's game, Doc is only working to get into the postseason. He is not bucking for a 1 seed. As a result, he is happy to go with someone struggling in a December game to give them time to work it out. It can be frustrating to watch sometimes, I agree, but I understand what Doc is doing. It has paid off before and if the Celtics once again are a cohesive team with multiple threats come April, it is worth it.

What is smart about playing green low mins and pierce more mins in a game like this.

doc s his good points and bad....he isn't a guy open to new things....he is slow to recognize the need for rebounds, as it IS defense in and of itself....doc is slow to integrate some types of guys...as in darko....why...he was a classic inside rebounder.....even if darko was going back to europe, doc still didn't play him.....and "I" am not telling you this, doc did 100 times here in boston....
