... and it Sucks.

Denver, Cleveland, and San Antonio have all seen game winning threes dropped on them. That'd 1 out of every 5 games he hits a game winning three.

I honestly hope he is slowed down and hobbled by the time April and May come around.

Ray made the right move by going to Miami
He is pplaying 27 minutes a game
he doesnt have to deal withh Rondo or being Bradleys back up
he is Miami number 1 option come crunch time

Celtics you couldnt do 9 million for Ray but you could for Green, now dont get me wrong maybe Green will become better as the season progresses but he will never be as clutch as Ray

He would have played ~27 minutes in Boston too, and would have been a prime option in crunch time.

I guess he left millions on the table so that he doesn't have to deal with Rondo, and because backing up Wade made him feel better than backing up Bradley would have. To each their own, I guess.

Ray Allen fell right into the perfect situation. He has LeBron and Wade to kick it out to him when they get doubled. As much as we hated his decision I think he gonna succeed more in Miami than here. Now I look at this team I can't help feeling that this is it. If we don't win this season besides Rondo, Bradley, and Sullinger, everybody has to go. Pierce should retire along with KG and trade Bass, Green, Lee, Terry, and whoever you can. We are set at guards we need to start over and in a few years we will be back. /end rant

Funny this post came up, I was just watching all his game winners on nba.com like 20 minutes ago.

I'll go ahead and say it, I miss Ray. I still like this team but watching Ray play for the Heat really is like watching an old girlfriend with her new man; you understand why it ended, but you still miss them.

I don't bear any ill will towards Ray. I wish he had stayed, and now that he is on our rival I will root against them, but in general it's good for him that he is playing well.

Regardless of your team affiliation, it is sad to see former superstars fade slowly away and hobble ineffectually around court. Just as a basketball fan, not as a Celtics fan, I am happy for Ray, and wish him well. Obviously, as a Celtics fan, I still root against him and the Heat.

I miss Ray.  I wish there had been a way to keep him.

There was: 1.trade Rondo,2. make the O revolve around Judas even more than it did, even when he was hobbled and...Oh yah....3. give him $9 mil/year (not for 3 years, per year)with a no trade clause. I'm sure there are others I forgot.

I miss the "old" Ray Allen, not the diva he's developed into.

What's the line from Devil's Advocate, when the Devil (Al Pacino) is trying to corrupt the defense attorney (Keanu Reeves) he was wooing to his firm?

I miss the image that ray portrayed here.

Unfortunately he was a me first selfish guy. He claimed to be about ubunto but after this offseason is nt everything he said the complete opposite?

Selfish player and pretty much the definition of a traitor. I do feel bad that he shed tears when the celts called KG before him though.

Keep hittin those nasty game winners against the elite NBA teams though!!! Just not us.

How's that Miami D looking?

Yes but he wouldnt get as many shots, or they would have been forced shots

Id rather be the top option in miami then being second behind pierce

Devil's advocate: the defensive downgrade posed by playing Ray Allen is necessitating his clutch shooting to win games that Miami would have easily won last year (Miami allowing 8 points per game more than their 2011-12 averages).

That's easy to do seeing how Miami has had the chance at game winners.

How many games have we had where we needed 1 bucket to win it? 1-2? If that.

Jet has made big shots too so I am not missing Ray like you guys are. Put him in those situations and he'd be hitting them too!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)
