"Life has so many hurdles. Some of them I've hopped over, some of them I've tripped over. The key is to get back up and finish the race."- Paul Pierce

And he did finish...

That is funny. I almost thought it was a joke seeing all those heat emblems...then I remembered this is ESPN we are talking about...
A winner is someone who recognizes his God-given talents, works his tail off to develop them into skills, and uses these skills to accomplish his goals.

Push yourself again and again. Don't give an inch until the final buzzer sounds.

Completely expected in the East. If I was asked to predict I'd pick the Heat too.  Predictions of course are pretty meaningless.

Disgusted by the dominance of LA as the pick in the West.  Is it safe to say that the new LA team has shown absloutely NOTHING to date? Lakers are a paper tiger until proven otherwise. They should get some respect based on individual histories but not 25 out of 35  --  that is an unwarranted level of respect and really shows LA bias IMO.

Go Chris Forsberg!
“Being a Celtic is, every decision you make is about the team. Every cut you make is about the team. Every pass you make is about the team. You take yourself out of it. It’s not for everyone. If you don’t want to win, don’t want to play team basketball, and it’s more about you then you’re probably not a Celtic." Doc 2010

Seems the Heat just toyed with us. Can't hold Pat Riley down for long. He's like a Jerry West. They should breeze through the ECF's. We picked up just enough good players to prop up the Big 3 again. Doc will overplay them again this season and we'll be out of the playoffs in the 2nd rd. The Fat Lady is warming up.
