  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
during the Heat ceremony where they get their rings?

I'm thinking awkwardly watch KG and comp. glare at him with his monster face.

I think Ray will assume body language of some formality with his hands by his sides and congratulate his teammates.

I think whatever 20 does will be banal and appropriate for the occasional.  What would a "consummate" professional do.  He will be polite and show decorum.

For me the real question is what will Rondo, KG, and Pierce do?  Dap or no dap?  I really dont know but I suspect they will be restrained and minimalistic but will acknowledge Ray in a brief way to meet the bare minimum of social norms.

Play smart, channel the feelings towards agressive play.  Lets do this.

Ray will standby like the consummate professional during the pre-game ring ceremony. When the game starts, he will receive the usual pre-game daps from his opposition.  I'm sure Paul will say what's up, KG will give him a fist dap; but after that, it's on.

Be jealous and whiny, just like he has been for the last couple of weeks.

While we're keeping an eye on what Heat backups who weren't on the team last year will be doing try to keep a look out for Rashard Lewis while we're at it.

What does "dap" mean?

I'm unsure if you are being sarcastic, but if not, "dap" means giving a high five in a sense...a way of saying, "hi."

He'll look longingly at the Cs and pretend that nothing happened. Approach the bench, but will be met by icy glares by Doc and company.

What does "dap" mean?
Instead of a handshake it's a fist tap

I'm sure Ray will kiss Doc/Paul/KG's ass to try and patch up all the BS he has been yapping about

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
I think Ray Allen will support his teammates and do everything he can to stay out of the spotlight in any fashion. Like the pro he is.

I think the real question is what will Eddy Curry sell his ring for? Is a Klondike bar out of the question?

What does "dap" mean?

The knocking of fists together as a greeting, or form of respect.

LOL, good post.

This is Curry's last shot at securing a good long-term deal, as he is about 30 now.  For his sake, hopefully he can have a good year.  Both he and Tyson Chandler were considered "big wheels" of their draft class and Chandler did his thing.  Hopefully Curry can have a good year for himself..I doubt it though.

Ray will most likely just pop his headphones in and listen to Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow croon about how they put your picture away, sat down and cried today. A single tear will roll down his cheek with fundementally sound symmetry and efficiency, just like he practiced before halftime. He always did put the work in.
