Did you just make a thread asking a question that
you already answered?
All offseason this thought never occurred to me. Maybe because miami looked so good in winning finals that i doubted celtics chances of winning it all this year.
I dont know the answer and am looking for other opinions.
If i am riight that their decisions are based on how how grueling this season is (and not simply a forgone conclusion if we win 18), i sure hope doc goes easy on them.
There are gong to be losses. Playing pp and kg 38 minutes in a 2nd game of back2back just because celtics are losing might be a bad idea. Just ride the youngsters and take the loss if it happens.
Playing kg mostly at 4 is obviously desirable if we want to see kg play multiple more years. If he wins a ring but had a non-exhausting season, he might come back.
The lack of depth a 3 could mean pp plays injured for extended time and gets burnt out mentally.
I guess it just means the youngsters must learn all they can as fast as they can from kg and pierce, as this might be the last year of grooming the next generation with the Celtic Way. If it means we get 18, I'm content.
