I think you could make a realistic argument for him at anywhere from 12-20 (looking at the players in that range).  I don't think you could really argue he is ahead of Dirk or any of the players that will fall in the top 10 (for next year, obviously going forward you might take rondo over guys like Dirk that are older), so I'd say that is about right.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

there's something wrong with that list. Rose tore his ACL, won't be the same ever, Nash is a million years old and doesn't play defense anymore, probably will play with one knee by the end of the season, and Westbrook isn't a pure PG

Paul, Williams and Rondo I'm fine with or in any order, but definitely not behind those other so-called PGs

**edit** sorry, wrong thread, I read somewhere else that Rondo was placed number 6 in pg ratings...

Derrick Rose, 23 year old MVP? He might take a while, but I don't think you can write him off the list yet.

While I agree with you, I also understand the hesitation. He is coming off a very serious injury. He will need to prove he is fully back to deserve that high ranking. We will know this season IMHO.

I wanna know who the 11 better players are so I can say whether it's right or not.

I need to see so I can use a lot of determining factors, the most important point is who I would take first.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

ranking players who play different positions and styles is always a bit silly, but coming from ESPN it goes beyond the limits of Moronic country. Couldn't care less.

They should talk about ad ratings, that's their business, not basketball.

Paul is 29th, which to me is questionable.

Yeah but this is a ranking that has Michael Redd in the 200's even though he's only played 237 of his last 492 games missing the most part of three seasons.

So getting them to discount injuries isn't something that is going to happen.

I remember last year they has a guy ranked in the 300's that was contemplating retirement due to a severe injury. It might have been Brad Miller but I can't remember.

Yeah, quite likely this is a product of the ESPN hype machine and is not based on our reality. Hard to take any of these 'rankings' seriously with these kind of gaff's.

I agree, this is just a silly list, and probably is as irrelevant as the fan's all star voting has been lately.  These opinions vary so wildly that they just don't mean much.

Rondo - 8th in 2012 mvp voting, but 12th on espn's list
Rondo - not chosen for 2012 all star game until someone else had an injury and couldn't attend...

ESPN long ago solidified themselves as a joke of an establishment. Ranking Dirk, D Wade, Westbrook, and Deron WIlliams ahead of Rondo further solidifies their ineptitude.
