This is great news for two reasons:

1 - Fans can legally resell tickets (I assume with a market value premium)

2 - The NBA can make money off of the sale instead of useless vultures like StubHub. Sure, stubhub will still try to buy tickets directly to resell, but at least they will be less of an option for fans. It is a travesty that all that money would go to people like StubHub instead of to making the sport better and supporting teams.

Add to that the fact that people can stop looking at scalper sites and then blaming the NBA for ticket costs. Now, it will truly be the NBA getting a cut so they can legitimately be disliked for that!
