Uhhhhh, did you read that Pierce is a little bitter about Ray leaving?  Do you think he would have felt that way if he didn't like Ray or want him back?  Bottom line is that KG and Pierce were willing to go along with Doc's program which meant that it was now Rondo's team.  Ray was not willing to go along with the program.  Result = buh-bye Ray!
