And not really a play, but the sheer awesomeness of the 4 minute! "Let's go Celtics" when we're down 20 at the end of the game against Miami.  Moving stuff.

Espy's victory speech, slept on but one of my favorite moments.

I loved this past year's team the  most but that 2008 team was a great group.

Scroll to about 4 minutes in.  At 4;20 when they are announced the winners (beat out the Red Sox and those [dang] Giants for the Espy that year) they get up there and tell Ray to give the speech and he says in Los Angeles.

"Another win in LA"  BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!  classic..

lol at Michael Strahan and Derek Fisher around 4:30.

Priceless.

For me it was Boston down by 3 with about 50 seconds left in the game, practically no time on the shot clock, game looking like it was in the bag...

Until Doc called the most amazing outbounds play I've ever seen:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0X9ow2A1mbo

Rondo with the alley-oop pass to KG for the hammer dunk and not a second lost off the clock - makes it a 1 point game which (from memory) Boston then went on to win.

Truly a game changer.

This shot came at a time where the Celtics were really struggling and people were writing them off. Was just the boost they needed.

I love how the Celtics have all these great clutch plays at the end of games versus the knicks. No wonder Knicks fans hate us so much  8)

Also, Pierce is such a great passer out of double teams at the end of games. Never gets enough credit for that.

Not positive if its true but I thought i've heard a stat that Pierce leads the league in game winning or buzzer beating assists. Not sure how to look that up but that coupled with his game winning shots its pretty impressive

Most have been mentioned.

PP's 3 in Game 5 vs Miami
Ray's juke on Sasha (hew also had a great dunk earlier)
Baby's winner vs Orlando

Great runs:

Comeback vs LA Game 4
Baby scoring something like 20 in the 4th vs Detroit in `08
Ray going for 50 in Chicago during that crazy OT filled series
Yup

Loved Leon Powe's 2008 finals game two performance, especially the length of the floor drive and dunk...

Just tried looking up that game to see if baby scored 20 in the 4th. He scored 20 in the game but that would be insane if that was all in the 4th. In any case that was an awesome game and just reading the recap was pretty crazy. We were 20-3 going into that game and the Pistons had won 11 in a row up to that point and us 8....just crazy. Oh and same story with Garnett. We build a huge lead with him while he's in and as soon as he comes out Pistons go on huge run.

We do need to start a thread soon for best games in the big 3 era.

Another favorite moment of mine was Ray passing Reggie for 3's against the lakers. Yeah we lost but it was a special moment and I was there so that was awesome.

Man, watching all these clips makes you remember just how much fun 2008 was. I can remember watching them early in the season amazed at how good they were and knowing the rest of the NBA was in big trouble.
No doubt.  I can remember one game telling my son "Can you believe this?" when we up, like, 60 one game.

One of my favorite pics from 2008. The sheer joy of Pierce winning the loose ball against Lebron in their epic 2008 game 7 battle...

I remember watching this, seeing Matt Damon's Nostradamus-like prophecy and feeling exactly the same way...
