Assuming there's not a way to get Moore back here (and even if there is, I'd still consider doing this), I'd strongly consider bringing back Daniels or Pavlovic (in that order).

Neither will be part of the rotation; however, both would be nice players to step into that Scal role during the season when someone goes down, since they both know the system and play tough defense.

They also would be nice to have in the playoffs as extra defenders when our wings inevitably get into foul trouble.

Obviously Pietrus would be an even better option, but if he was balking at coming here before because of the money, I can't imagine him coming here to get low money and no minutes.

Bring Daniels back, he can play emergency PG and helped us win game 3 vs Miami in the ECF. Has big game experience and is versatile and always ready to play when given the chance.

Why not just bring back Scal?

I don't mind neither of them as our 3rd string, but right now, with Lee, Terry, Rondo and Bradley, and then Pierce with Jeff Green, we are all set from the 1 to 3 spot. We must fix our rebounding problem. Our defense is already good. Get help for Rondo, check. Get help for Pierce, check. Get help for KG, not check.

We need a reliable big off the bench that can play center if KG is to play center this season as well.

Rather have Dooling. Need another PG. Daniels has more all around game. Rather have Pietrus and Dooling than Daniels and Pavolvic.

  • Ashy To Classy, baby.
Step 1. Backup PG

Step 2. Backup Big

Step 3. Resign E'twaun if possible.

Step 3b. (If E'twaun can't be resigned)Pietrus

Step 3c. Marqueezy Daniels because he's a solid defender and underrated offensive player, except when he shoots anything outside of the paint.
My pic is now, and will be Fab Melo until he posts his first official NBA dbl-dbl. This may be permanent.

Looks like Pavlovic is out of the picture. He was the next wing I wanted sign, but no worries. Plenty to find around to fill his role.

Deal for C. Lee brought back from dead. Portland steps in as 3rd team. Celts also sign and move Sasha Pavlovic (w/Moore, Johnson, Williams)

I dont think we will be able to resign Moore until a certain amount of days correct? I dont want to resign him anyway. Would much rather have Dooling in emergency situations. Great for the locker room leadership role and isnt afraid to command the floor and speak up. He has great confidence and adds huge spurts of energy especially on the defensive end.

1. Dooling
2. Daniels
3. Pavo
4. Moore

in that order, if it comes down to it.

We need to sign Dooling, Andersen or Blatche, maybe both, and call it a day.

We won't be able to resign Moore for the remainder of the season.

Like it. Andersen was the guy I was forgetting that I want on the bench. And love Dooling coming back for emergency/locker room purposes. Personally I stay away from Blatche but wouldnt be upset if he came here. Maybe even bring back Petey as our 5th or 6th guard?

Rondo/Terry/Dooling
Bradley/Lee/Petey
Pierce/Green/Joseph
Bass/Wilcox/Sully
KG/Andersen/Melo
