Imma trying to trade my guys to open PT for rookies. I am trying the OKC approach to team building and guys like Gortat, Redick and Evans, who have probably peaked, will suck up minutes I want Barnes, MKG and Valanciunas to have.
But...........
I think if you had defended the trades you made earlier as trades that were, if uneven, in the interest of both teams making the trade, you'd have what you want, and a lineup you like more.
Here's an idea:
I'll trade Jrue Holiday, Tiago Splitter, and Nikola Vucevic for Gortat and Lin.
I'm offering a more traditional point guard prospect with a higher ceiling (Holiday) (and some would argue better right now, though I wouldn't necessarily), a very promising PF/C who is just entering his prime with playoff experience (Splitter), and a promising center prospect who will likely take a big step forward next year both in playing time and likely development (Vucevic).
If you think its so ridiculously unfair, or uneven, make another offer to Nick that is better.
But that's the trade offer I'm making.
