but they are much better than last season when they faced the heat

They need Jeff Green to play like a guy worth 36m for 4 years. And they need another Center that can play 20 MPG when called upon, even if only called upon once every three games.

They need Rondo to keep improving, and they need KG and PP to hold off the decline.

But I'm very optimistic.

Sniff Sniff, Dwight Howard might be on the Lakers.

I'd call myself an optimistic realist, But even with Lee, etc. A healthy Nash, Kobe, Metta, Gasol, Howard is clearly better than the C's. Now the C's bench should be light years better, but benches and depth don't win championships. (Ask the Spurs)

I don't get all these people saying DH12 isn't a huge upgrade over Bynum. DH12 carried a team to the finals.

Woah take it easy. Let's see the Lakers win #17 before we lock them in for #18.  But yes i agree with the general idea of this thread... Unless King James and Ray Ray save the day... Nash, Kobe, Dwight and pau probably got this on lockdown.  Get ready to root hard for the heat.
