SF: Pierce, Green, Joseph

Why does everyone assume Kris Joseph is sticking around?  He's a 2nd round draft pick.  He needs some seasoning.

I'd much rather have Pietrus this season.

And, Dooling would be terrific as a third-string PG.  And, he's Rondo's friend, which never hurts.  Remember how Rondo talked about him last season?  Dooling was like the only guy he trusted.

For a third-string center, Stiemsma will be terrific, Darko acceptable.

Joseph is tearing up the summer league. He's a complete player. And we can't get Pietrus with our remaining assets. We CAN get Joseph.

Yeah Joseph is really impressive to me, already looks like a 5 year vet out there. He was the leading scorer on Syracuse last year and had Syracuse as a legit title contender before Melo was ruled out.

...tearing up the summer league.

I understand your point, but that phrase should never be allowed to be uttered in any discussion.  The summer league is the summer league.  It's nice to see guys give it their all, but it doesn't translate to NBA ball.

Plus, by your logic of who is tearing it up in the summer league, both Moore and Christmas are doing much better than Joseph.  I know they're different positions, but...

Pietrus is a known commodity and we know Doc trusts him.  He'll play and contribute.

Joseph will never see the floor under Doc.

We cannot get Pietrus.

Don't be too greedy. We aren't the Lakers here. If we get Pietrus, then we just have too much talent at the 2/3 to give everyone playing time. EVERY NBA team has prospects, and for us, Joseph will be one of them.

Regardless, we can't afford him. He won't take the vet min and all we have is the BAE and we're gonna use that on a big.

Davis is out for the entire season. And I forgot about KMart, would love to have his intensity in green. God this really seems like our year.

Rondo/Terry
Bradley/Lee
Pierce/Green/Joseph
Bass/Sully
KG/Wilcox/Melo

There is our 12, then:

13. Moore
14. Hopefully Andersen or Darko

Looks like Moore was part of the trade.  I liked moore, but he was redundant with our combo guards now!

How about Dooling, Hollins, and save the BAE for a juicy buy out later on?

Let Steimer go home.  Hollins had great energy and can be 12th man.

What a year!

Does someone know about this ? If we can't go over 74 mil this season because we used the MLE , can we go over it the next year ? If that is the case can we make Lee's and green's contracts back loaded so we can fill out our roster ? I think the look of our remaining roster depends a lot on this little detail ...

if its JJJ ,Moore and Williams for Lee, how many roster spots would be open ? 3?

I would imagine they will try to sign a big man and another vet pg

PG: Rondo    / Bradley     /
SG: Lee      / Terry       /
SF: PP       / Green       / Joseph
PF: Bass     / Sullinger   /
 C: KG       / Wilcox      / Melo
Christmas, Dooling and a big, not sure who.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Didn't know BDiddy was out. It's too bad. It's gonna have to be Delonte West, then or Dooling.

Good Locker guy.  Friends with KG and Paul.  improved as a rebounder, and could be happy at the end of the bench as he learns under KG.  He's a little clumsy, but not Perkins-bad.

Steimer is wanted back home and we oughta let him go.

His basketball IQ qualifies for support from Medicaid.

seriously, he gives up more points then the 10 he gets on good days from all those missed rotations.  He's a good shot blocker though, so he's got that going for him...

Keyon provides great mentoring to Rondo, and great veteran leadership overall, so I'm hoping he's re-signed.

I'm hoping for Steamah on the BAE.

Keep Joseph, and maybe give the last spot to Christmas or Smith on a nonguaranteed deal—that way, he can be cut midseason to open a roster spot for a buyout guy (though that usually doesn't work out too well for us) or to acquire someone in a trade.

My roster (not necessarily in the following orders):

PG: Rondo/Dooling/X
SG: Lee/Bradley/Terry
SF: Pierce/Green/Joseph
PF: Bass/Wilcox/Sullinger
C:  KG/Steamah/Melo
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body.
