Blatche has the talent to be a perfect fit next to KG.  I'd gamble on him for the minimum, but I wouldn't expect it to work out.
idk bout perfect fit they had beef in da past. Plus da fact dat Blatche is an alchoholic who's outta shape iont see his bad work ethic being a good fit here especially wit how brutal celtics nation can get. when healthy nd wit da correct mindset he's an extremely talented nd versatile big man tho

I wonder if any under the cap team will claim him.  The last thing a young team needs is this guy.

Ton of talent, ounce of good sense.

Unless KG could court him into wanting to come here to be mentored, it's not happening.

But it is hard to overlook so much talent with nothing above the shoulders.

Maybe Saunders could give some insight to Ainge/KG/Doc on whether it'd be worth looking into.
Can't stop, Rondo!

He's a huge gamble.  I'll say this much:  he's the most talented player left in the market, and he could potentially help us on the glass.  Whether he's worth the headaches he would cause is another question entirely.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Such a waste of talent. Although I believe if he lands in a place where there is veteran leadership he can get straighten up and be productive.

I wouldn't mind having him for the minimum. Then kick his behind out if he's still
A knucklehead.

This.
He has tremendous talent. Not sure if he has the mental capacity to get things right. Probably needs medication of some kind because I'd say he's got a severe depression, anxiety or similar mental issue.
Definitely worth a roll of the dice even for 3-4 million.
At one stage this guy was considered a future All Star, he's still young and may be saved. If anyone can do it, KG, Doc and Co can.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.
