Jamison to sign with Lakers

LA should start Jamison next to Bynum and have Pau come off of the bench. Sign Hill, Bell and a swingman/defender and they could have a solid 8-10 man rotation.

A $20 million dollar 6th man? No way.

Idk if Pau's declining or if Mike Brown is not utilizing him properly - maybe a combo of both - but if Pau isn't traded, he needs to be starting and playing a more dominant role for them.

i really want to know what he signed for. i'd hope the vet minimum. i wouldnt be keen for him on the Cs. his attitude was pretty bad in cleveland (maybe understandably) and now i think he's too old to be a force.

According to Kuptchak they are not going to use their MMLE. So if either Jamison or Grant Hill sign for them, it will be for the vet. min.

The Lakers "could be landing" Antawn Jamison and Jermaine O'Neal on veteran minimum deals, a source tells Yahoo! Sports.
Where there is smoke this thick, there is traditionally a fire. Jamison would be a fantastic value pickup for Los Angeles if he comes over on the veteran's minimum, while O'Neal is a high-risk gamble who has a very questionable ability to stay healthy at this point in his career. Both players would serve in the Lakers' second unit. Los Angeles also remains interested in re-signing Jordan hill.
