rondo is not worth both bynum and nash..

chambers.u gots to be *sippin*

Mate the only thing I'm sippin is a hard dose of reality.
Nash+Bynum on our squad for the next 3 seasons= better shot at title than with Rondo.

Do you think Rondo is worth more than Bynum and Nash? If not who would you trade Rondo for?

i really dont think any team wants rondo

The Green Team does.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

I think that would make Boston the title-favourite next season.
Yeah, you'd have to do that trade.

Swapping two young players of potential (Bynum/Rondo) and you get Nash to replace Rondo?

I wouldn't do the trade because Rondo is the absolute centerpiece of this franchise.

Now unrelated...

If the Lakers trade Andrew Bynum to the Magic then he becomes a UFA in the next 4 years... I will 110% throw everything at him to get him in green. I'd kill to see Rondo and Bynum together.

NO, just don't give up Rondo! He is the youngest and our best player. Why trade him. Garnett at C = Bynum, Bynum is just a rebounding machine and more like a big body downlow but KG plays better offense and better defense.

Stop idea's for trading Rondo, try to build arround him!

You could also say " No way would I trade a top 3-5 PG in the NBA for a top 2 NBA center and one of the greatest point guards of all time who is still in excellent starting form."

Take off the green glasses guys lol. Please.

Sure KG Bynum on the inside would be imposing but they'd spend most of their time on the bench in foul trouble(or in Bynum's case either benched by Doc or injured) if your going to have Terry and Nash as your stating guards because neither can stay in front of anyone.

It would make the leagues best DEFENSIVE TEAM suddenly  terrible on defense while only improve our offense slightly.

Yes.  A blatant ruse by the OP to determine who's wearing green-tinted glasses.

....or one might say it is a blatant ruse to see who truly has an unnatural HATRED for RAJON RONDO.

I think it depends on your perspective.  I'd hate that trade. I think Nash guarding on the perimiter would devastate Boston's vaunted defense and Bynum could ruin our locker room.

Bynum can't stay healthy and is a headcase who was benched multiple times by Mike Brown.  Nash is ancient and hasn't played defense since 2002.

People saying no to this trade aren't showing an irrational attachment to Rajon Rondo in any way shape or form.  There is completely logical reasoning behind not making this deal like....Nash is ancient and probably would struggle to defend someone in a wheel chair while Bynum has had exactly ONE HEALTHY SEASON in his career and is a major head case.  What is so hard to understand about that?

I'd trade Rondo for the right trade, just not this one.

Rondo is my favorite player behind KG. I love him, I have his jersey.
I love the Celtics more though and I don't think a single NBA GM would turn this deal down. Rondo for Bynum would be a close call- but Bynum was a beast and is the second best center in the NBA (some would say the best)- you can build a championship squad around him, He's younger than Rondo and had zero health problems last year after surgery.
It's harder to build a title winner around Rondo than it is Bynum. Here's a question. Do you think LA would trade Nash and Bynum for Rondo?

I can understand that some people wouldn't, and my post about 'wearing green glasses' was a bit overboard, but I hope you can understand that most people would do this deal in an instant.

Do you need green glasses to see that Bynum missed an average of 31 games a season the 4 years prior to this one, or that he was publicly called out by a teammate for a lack of effort in the playoffs last year?

I'd rather have Rondo than Bynum.  I know that it's hard to find good seven footers, but I don't trust Andrew Bynum as much as I trust Rondo to be a franchise leader, particularly not for this franchise.

I'd like to get him to play with Rondo, but I'm not swapping them for each other.
