Przybilla would be a good third string center for them.

I think Kwame will be out of their price range.

They have no cap space.  They can offer league minimum salaries to any free agent.  Free agents are willing to accept minimum contracts from Miami because:

1)They feel they can win a championship
2)They're not going to get a whole lot more on the open market
3)A good playoff performance in Miami would drive up the value of their next contract

They will not end up with Elton Brand.  He is not a free agent, but an amnesty claim.  Any team with cap space can claim him and he goes to the highest bidder.  Brand will not play for Miami unless he gets zero bidders.

If Brand and his agent let it known he will not play for any team that claims him, Chauncey Billups style (before clips talked to him), it is very possible they could get Brand.

Aren't they limited by cap space in signing vets to min salaries? Or does that not count against luxury tax like an MLE wouldn't?

I disagree with this.  A team with cap space would still put in a minimum salary claim.  If I ran the Bobcats, Kings, etc... I would.

You can sign as many veteran minimum players as you want.  Otherwise, teams wouldn't be able to fill rosters.

You can't have the HEAT, Knicks, Lakers, or Celtics (in previous years) have only 8 or 9 players.

QFT. Nicely put.

I admit, I had to look up what QFT means.  So we learned today that Lucky17 is cooler than me, amongst other things.

If Brand stated he would not play for any team that claims him, I dont see any teams making a claim based on that statement. I guess the Bobcats or Kings could make a claim and just avoid Brand and fine him for every missed game, practice etc, to eventually make a profit. (salary claim - fines) but that has about a .0001 chance of happening and then you have the players union involved and bad PR. Soon congress is called in and the CBA is voided and there you go the NBA is locked out again.

Im joking of course but seriously no team would put a bid on a guy who says publicly he wont play for them.

Przybilla was very weak for Portland last year and weak for the Bobcats before that. It doesn't look like he has been able to recover from those (knee?) injuries.

I think he's roughly the equivalent of a Jamaal Magloire or Eric Dampier type. Two players who played for Miami a year ago.

An official NBA statement from when Billups said he wouldn't play for any team that claimed him:

Quote
The league warned Billups and his agent, Andy Miller, on Monday that any statements made concerning not reporting to a team or being disruptive would be viewed as a breach of Billups’ contract, and that the NBA “is reserving all of its rights to take appropriate action against the player for his efforts to undermine the waiver process and the contractual rights of both the waiving team and any claiming team. Please also be advised that the NBA will fully support any team that claims Mr. Billups’ contract in the amnesty/waiver process and that subsequently believes it has grounds for discipline of Mr. Billups for breach of that contract.”

http://hangtime.blogs.nba.com/2011/12/12/billups-forewarned-by-league/

Elton Brand is smart enough not to breach an $18 million contract.  He'd play out the year for whomever claimed him and then hit free agency.  Keep in mind, he only has one year left.

The source is the NBA's website and an official NBA statement.

Kwame to the Heat makes a lot of sense. He'd be a perfect 10 minute a night guy to throw in when they need to go big with LeBron and Bosh out.
