Only way I see us getting BOTH Lee and Camby is by sending Bass(7),JJJ(1.5) and picks

Then Lee gets his 6mil per year upgrade,Camby and 2.5 and our team is solidified by using the remaining cap space on Krstic.
Later to be used as trade bait before the deadline

Rondo,Lee,Pierce,KG,Camby
Jet,Bradley,Green,Sully,Melo
Dooling,Pietrus,Krstic,Wilcox, Free agent.
I would love that team
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Dude's just tossing out names of players that'd be a good fit on the C's. That's all he does. It's 100% speculation.

And speculation that those other teams want those players too?  ::)

 >:( I only like this if we sign & trade Pietrus + Dooling, AND manage to sign Gerald Green.

S&T for both Lee and Camby is going to cost a lot. The C's will feel the pain if they do it. Might be a matter of biting the bullet, though.

Bass for Camby & Lee.  I think both teams do this.

Bass would have to agree to the sign and trade.  And it makes the team worse.

What makes more sense is work out the sign and trade with the Heat to make Ray a little more comfortable and get him paid more.  If Mike Miller is really retiring, then it might make sense for Houston to take his money that will just come off the cap, and the C's can throw in the Charlotte pick if they need to sweeten the deal.

not only that, but the other teams have to agree to the sign and trade as well.

plus we'd rather have bass than those players.

Blakely may as well be some random guy on twitter named BigBoi63, for all the credibility he has.

We of course have interest in Pietrus.  We'll see if a legitimate source reports the other two.

EXACTLY! Thank you. This guy only states the obvious. It's not like he's getting any inside information. We here have already discussed the things he 'leaks'. I should get paid for saying who the Celts are interested in!

Yeah, I feel like he reports more obvious facts than actual rumors/signings.

It's like hmm, the Celtics are looking for a sg? Lets see who's best available....

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
I would like to take a chance on Gerald Green, he has a ton of upside and could benefit greatly from being around a veteran team with a great coach and a past first pg.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

1) because bass is getting than a 20% raise, then his salary in trades is 4.25 mill, it's called base year compensation, it makes it hard to do a trade

2) don't understand why the rockets would be interested in bass, did morey stumble on a new formula where if he plays 5 undersized pfs he'll win the title or something, they drafted 3 undersized pfs in the first round last 2 years, plus they already have scola who they are trying to unload.

EDIT: forget they drafted patrick patterson 3 years ago also make 4 pfs in the last 3 drafts

i follow him on twitter.he actually responds to everyone.he seems to know what he is doing. How do we know he doesn't have an inside source.i hate people that assume.and for those saying you can do his job.you can't.it is much harder than you think.

Well people aren't assuming he doesn't have inside info with evidence. For being a Celtic insider he really doesn't ever seem to have the first word or breaking story on much. I'm sure he has some, but not nearly what others have.

Basically if you want to know what's going to happen, follow Wojo.

Blakely seems like a great guy.  Maybe, in a time where we didn't have access to guys like Woj, Amick (*not* Amico), Berger, and others, then Blakely's "sources" would be interesting.  However, from my perspective, he just states the obvious and regurgitates other people's reporting.

I like Blakely enough, but he doesn't add much.  He's better than Tanguay or Felger, though.
