Sign & Trade with Miami ?

Celticslife.com reports , from Ira Winderman twitter.

Heat could be offering a pick, they would be able to use their MLE still, I feel indifferent about it,if they're going to get a player for MLE it's not gona matter they're still good.

If it's their Sixers pick next year top 10 protected and Anthony would you do it?

Other possible scenarios Where we get a TE and the pick? Any ideas?

How many ways can one say NO. Celtics should never help Miami get better becuase they are already better than us what with Stern being on their side and all.

I think the rumor is for Joel Anthony.

Miami would then recoup the mini-MLE to offer Camby. Rumor has it they're prepared to move Anthony in a deal to get Camby.

who are the heat going to get for 3 mil MLE ?

I don't really care,we're not doing them any favours,we're getting a lottery pick, Sixers amnestied Brand, might trade Iggy now that they got Harkless.
Lousis Williams won't be a sixer.

They could just miss the playoffs,last year they were 8th seed so who knows, we could have a lottery pick for Ray,our own first and 3 second rounders next year.

Just a question though, if a 3rd team takes on Anthony would we get a trade exception for 3 mil ?

If were going to lose Ray regardless we might as well get value in return. It may help the cHeat, but it will also benefit us. I'd hate to lose Ray for nothing.

Or could we get Pittman who we then waive ? Does salaries have to match ? In addition to Terrel Harris and Juwan Howard sign and trade .. We waive them all.

If the Heat is willing to get their MLE plus give us their Sixers pick, they're not in a position of strength here,they're the beggars.

I agree

I don't see Miami having anything of value to offer us that would be worth allowing them to keep their mini-MLE.

Then again, they could always just work out a S&T with a different team for a player they want in that salary slot.

Not really interested in Joel Anthony. Too weak a rebounder for this squad.

If they get Marcus Camby, I think they add quite a lot more to their squad than Boston gains.

It appears Miami has no available trade exceptions, so they'd have to send players.
