Don't see Ainge matching Stiemsma the ridiculous contract the bone-headed Kahn may offer.

We can't match much only with the bae.

Ninny can top that easy.

Even if all Stiemsma cares about is money, he's better off signing with the Celts for less.

He will get national exposure with the Celts, and the opportunity to prove he can be a valuable contributor on a champion contender.

That would give him a much bigger payoff down the road.

If Batum ends up in minny they won't have cap space to nab him probably.

True...he'll sit on the bench in Minn....with him starting they are worse than the Celtics and HE"LL PLAY WORSE for them....he has Pierce , ROndo and KG to make him look better than he is.

Ao yes...his value will go up the longer he stays on the Celtics,
he'll fall off the into the abyss of nothing up there in MINN

Too bad 99% of the league only cares about money, the 1% exception being KG.

i.e., the guy who has made more money in salary than any player in the history of the NBA. ;)

They could still use their "room exception" on him if they wanted, right?

I believe your right, Roy.  Minny would still have 2.5m left from that exception.  Must use cap room first and be .5m*#player under 12 under cap.  Then can use room and vet min exceptions.

Ah yes, being the 5th big man in a team's rotation is infinitely better for showcasing your value than possibly being the primary backup at Center for another team.

if KG stays at C Steamer is our 2nd C, if KG goes back to PF then hes our first. well its possible that Melo could pass him i dont expect that to happen in his first season
